HIV Testing

AID Gwinnett offers

 rapid HIV testing services.

AID Gwinnett provides HIV Testing services from 9 am to 7 pm on Tuesdays and from 9 am until 4 pm on Thursdays. The Rapid Test provides results in 20 minutes and no needles are used.

Two excellent, convenient options are now available.  All of these options are 99% accurate and very convenient.  The OraSure and OraQuick methods require an oral swab.

  • Orasure (free to anyone, but with results in approximately 1 week)
  • OraQuick Advance with results in 20 minutes (cost is $25 unless you are eligible for a free OraQuick test; see below)

In addition, if you would like to give a donation, we will accept it and your generosity will be greatly appreciated.  All of the above testing options are convenient and very fast.  Most people prefer to get their HIV test with our anonymous option, which means your name is not recorded.

For persons who are living with HIV, we offer a comprehensive range of case management services as well as medical care, treatment, education, social support and referrals to other needed programs and services.

In addition, we also provide anonymous or confidential HIV testing in the community upon advance request.  If you would like to request that we provide a resource table at an HIV program or health related event and/or HIV testing for your group or agency, please call us at 678-990-6430 or send an email to monroe-spencerk@aidgwinnett.org

This site contains HIV prevention messages that may not be appropriate for all audiences. Since HIV infection is spread primarily through sexual practices or by sharing needles, prevention messages and programs may address these topics.
