HIV Prevention Education

AIDGwinnett?s HIV Prevention Education Programs target youth ages 13 to 25, in Gwinnett, Rockdale and Newton counties. Our primary focus is to provide multi-session HIV skill-building programs using the CDC Programs that Work curricula in different sites where there are high-risk youth.  Other strategies to reach youth are incorporated in the following programs.

  • HIV Awareness & Outreach Presentations
  • Newsletter & Web Page (preparing articles)
  • On-going Multi-session Programs for Youth
  • Prevention Case Management
  • Speakers Bureau
  • Teaching Our Generation about AIDS (TOGA) Youth Peer Education
  • Individual Level Intervention Counseling
